Life Without Words

Hi, I’m Kerri, and I’m the proud mom of an amazing little human, Wyatt, who happens to have Level 3 autism and is non-verbal.

To be honest, I’m not a writer. I don’t have fancy words or big advice to give. But I do have a story.. our story. And maybe by sharing it, I’ll find others who understand what it’s like to live in a world that sometimes doesn’t understand us.

Some days are hard. Really hard. There are moments where I feel like I’m screaming inside while the world goes on as if nothing is happening. Other days are filled with tiny victories that mean everything—a smile, a new way my child shows me love, or a small step forward that feels like a giant leap.

I’m starting this blog because I feel alone sometimes. I know there have to be other moms (and dads, grandparents, caregivers) out there who feel the same way. I want this to be a space where we can be real about the struggles and celebrate the wins, no matter how small.

If you’re reading this and you’re on a similar journey, I see you. You’re not alone. Our kids may not use words, but they speak volumes with their presence, their love, and their strength.

Thank you for being here. I hope you’ll stick around as I share more about our daily life, therapies, meltdowns, laughter, and everything in between.

With love,

Kerri
